About

iluvlive jessie jILUVLIVE is a live music event that launched in London in June 2004 and has now become the UKs premier homegrown live music night. Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande, Professor Green, Maverick Sabre, Tinie Tempah, Plan B, Taio Cruz, Chipmunk, Tinchy Stryder, Katy B, Wretch 32 and NDubz are just a few of the acts that we supported, often years before they were signed.

We now have monthly residencies in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpoool.

In London, Master of homegrown talent Ras Kwame (Choice FM) has been involved in the night since its inception and is still our regular Master of Ceremonies, ably supported by Twin B (BBC 1Xtra). In Birmingham, Sacha Brooks (Capital) lends her considerable hosting skills, whilst in Bristol Kizzy Morrell (Ujima Radio - 98fm Bristol) keeps the night running right.

Each event features six acts all playing with a live band plus the now legendry ILUVLIVE 60 second open mic. Anyone can sign up for the open mic but the 8-12 slots fill up fast and the competition is ferocious with the act most popular with the audience winning a coveted slot at our next show. Sign up on the night. First come first served.

iluvlive tinieWe provide a house band for acts that don’t have their own and for many of our best-loved MC’s, ILUVLIVE was their first taste of performing with a band. We like to think we provide an important platform for both new and established artists and often have famous faces dropping by. Plus an awful lot of networking goes on with a healthy quota of industry bods always in the house.

In our seven-year history we have had a regular monthly slot on MTV Base for a year, a daily show on Flava TV for a year and been broadcast BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra on three occasons. We now feature our shows on our own swiftly developing ILUVLIVE TV.

We hope to see you at an event soon!
