Derek Andrew "Sway" DaSafo is a British hip-hop artist of Ghanaian origin who gained attention through a series of independently released mix tapes before winning a 2005 MOBO (Music of Black Origin) award, which positioned him as one of the leading hopes for U.K. rap. Born in London -- albeit unintentionally, when his mother was on a stopover between Amsterdam and her native Ghana -- and mostly raised there as well, DaSafo hails from Hornsey, a North London neighborhood positioned in between posh, middle-class Murray Hill and the slum Wood Green. His carefully constructed rap persona reflects this polarity by combining a literate, reflective approach with a savvy, street-smart sensibility. Together with his broad, cagey sense of humor and often nervously kinetic delivery, it amounts to a fascinatingly complex and undeniably charismatic style, comparable to an intellectual Ludacris or a more ruminative Twista -- it's not hard to hear why he generated an underground buzz that developed quickly into wider awareness
'LoveBass' is the heavily charged sizzling debut. During her early teens Cleo already began establishing herself in the industry as a featured artist on various tracks. Notable features include Tinie Tempah ‘Tears’, DaVinChe‘Hero’, alongside Bashy on ‘Riding For Love’ and most recently on the official Orange Rockcorps anthem ‘Give A Little Love’ co-starring Roll Deep, Aggro Santos, Bluey Robinson and Bashy. Cleo also appeared on soundtrack to Noel Clarke’s UK Urban flick “4, 3, 2, 1” via club hit ‘Dancefloor’ with Wretch 32. This is the first installment of many for 2011. She is more than equipped and ready to cement herself firmly within the UK scene
Also a former member of N.A.S.T.Y crew, Ghetts has been on the scene from the beginning. A frequent collaborator with Kano, he has worked with the best in the scene and has released four mix tape’s, each creating more hype than the previous. Ghetts is a member of grime crew, The Movement, in which some of the members have gone off to have successful solo careers such as Devlin and Wretch 32. His latest release ‘On A Level,’ has a different feel to his traditional grime sound but his versatility is evident and is what keeps him as one of grime’s favorites.
