Emmavie is a self-taught singer/songwriter, producer and DJ from London. Specialising in what she describes as "limitless, soulful, future R&B", her music is an amalgamation of 90s R&B influences and her love for digital audio experimentation.

November 2nd see's Emmavie releases a track from the forth coming project. On the new track 'RATHER BE' Emmavie explains "I fell out of love with writing love songs that wasn't totally sexed up and rubbing my heartbreak in my face. I opened up and old House song called Poetry In Motion and I flipped it. RATHER BE is my anti-love song; realising that all the love I have left is for my family”

Self-produced, the track demonstrates Emmavie's versatility and intricate production techniques coupled with effortless vocal harmonies and inspired song writing. 'RATHER BE' is a hybrid of funk synths and trap drums with a soulful melody containing a conscious escape from reality.

Emmavie has credits across a number of artists both UK and international, including collaborations with IAMNOBODI, Budgie, ROMderful, Jarreau Vandal, Dornik, Alfa Mist, Barney Artist, Nick Grant and Jay Prince. Emmavie's cutting edge sound has gain her respect and notoriety amongst her peers with Soulection alumni from across the globe celebrating her song making ability and trail blazing production. Singer / songwriter Jordan Rakei tweeted back in Feb 2018 "Emmavie has the best vocal arrangements” and prior to inviting her to tour Europe with him Masego posted, "Yeah.. She has been featured on popular culture publications such as SBTV, i-D magazine, Clash and Paper Magazine where she was listed as part of the "10 rising UK RnB acts you need to jump on". Recently Emmavie and ROMderful took part in a Bolier Room TV 'Crowdsourced', which saw the two long time collaborators and close friends, Jam for two hours making tracks with samples and song subject matters sent in by viewers of the cult show.

Emmavie's high profile performances include support for the legendary RnB singer, Jon B, Grammy and ASCAP award winning singer/songwriter, Eric Bellinger and some of the leaders of the new school Soul and Hip-Hop acts such as Smino, Iman Omari, Masego, Mahalia and The Internet front woman, SYD (part of Red Bull Music Academy's Paths Unknown programming). Following a number of successful collaborations with Soulection, Emmavie went on to perform as part of the Soulection Sound of Tomorrow World Tour, to a sell-out audience at KOKO, Camden July 2016 and at the Roundhouse in Camden, March 2017. She was invited to open up for Soulection's front man Joe Kay at his sold-out show at Village Underground.

Emmavie's songs receive regular radio play on stations such as BBC 1xtra, Beats Radio, Rinse FM, Reprezent, THE BEAT 103.6 FM and MiSoul Radio and she was crowned BBC Radio 1Xtra's "Best of British”. Championed by many specialists including Future Bounce pioneer Jamz Supernova, Everything R&B ambassador DJ Ace and Rinse FM's nu soul tastemaker Jyoty.

With so many achievements already under her belt so early in her career, the future is looking very bright indeed for Emmavie. Look out for volume 2 of ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY and her debut album Honeymoon (Fresh Selects Media) in 2019.
