Pit London is the brain-child of Tramell “Darkstepper” Mugarura and Alfred Afari, two childhood friends that share a passion for quality home-grown music. Since the launch, The Pit London have produced a multitude of events touching each corner of London including The Playlist Party UK & Genre Clash. The Pit London curate eclectic line-ups celebrating a range of genres. From R’n’B and Neo-Soul to Hip Hop and Grime, this is music leaving an imprint.

iluvlive is a live music and artist development platform. We are a not-for-profit National Portfolio Organisation funded by Arts Council England and have been operating since 2004.

Initially a London-based showcase hosted by Ras Kwame and Twin B, we supported Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande, Chip, Wretch 32, Katy B, Ray Blk, Izzy Bizu, Little Simz, Ms Banks, Kojey Radical, Ella Mai, Tom Grennan, Shakka, Mahalia and Plan B to name a few - often on numerous occasions and years before they were signed.

British R&B/Soul singer, Kadeem Tyrell, is making waves in the UK music scene. Born and raised in Battersea, Kadeem epitomises the alternative sound that is currently on the rise, described as soothing alternative soul & effortless R&B. Heavily influenced by A Tribe Called Quest, Aaliyah, Brandy & many more artists from the 90's era, Kadeem put pen to paper at the young age of 14, challenging his writing skills and seeing how far he could take his vocal ability.

Having been raised in the church community, it was inevitable that Kadeem's love for music would grow. His family is filled with plenty of musical talent. His Mother and Aunts were Gospel singers and his father a DJ, allowing Kadeem to be exposed to and influenced by all genres of music, including lovers rock, rare groove and other music of the 80's whilst growing up.

In 2015, Kadeem debuted his vocals by featuring on a track with East London producer Nat Brown 'Memories'. The track was heavily supported by DJ EZ and many more DJ's across the Garage scene. In 2016, Kadeem teamed up with Chelmsford Garage producer RYN and released a smooth 5 track EP titled 'Fooled', full of what has been described as 'Feel Good Music'. Aiming to establish his music amongst many of the greats, Kadeem has garnered a buzz and is being mentioned amongst some of London’s finest such as NAO, Sampha and MNEK.

Chikaya is showing us that Bristol is not just about the DJ’s or producers but also the home to great traditional musical talent. The originator of what she coins as “Cosmic Trap”, Chikaya dropped her latest EP 'Descend' in 2018 which takes you on a journey of spacey beats and playful lyrics. Chikaya has an amazing soulful voice that brings you gently back down to Earth. She has performed around the country and recently performed at Boomtown!

Straight outta the well established musical melting pot of Bristol, Dee Green and Bewbonik – AKA Bailey’s Brown and Blanka – have been making waves on the local scene and beyond for years. Dee has been responsible for a string of solo releases, as well as projects with the likes of Datkid, Lee Scott and Black Josh. Bewbonik is probably best known as one of the MCs in the mighty Bristol collective Split Prophets, but he is also a skilled producer, having crafted beats for a number of projects over the years. Together they form Dedw8, refusing to be categorized or limited by labels, raising a solid middle finger to genre obsessed critics and purists. This is distorted vocals, dirty bass lines, dark samples and heavy drums, as if Tyler the Creator had come up in the UK grime scene.

Anna Lisa is a Bristol-based singer-songwriter and producer, who has spent the last few years cultivating her sound and paving the way for her solo career to take flight.

Having already made it into the Top 20 of the MOBO Unsung competition in 2016,

Anna Lisa’s distinctive, haunting vocal style continues to bring her recognition as she readies herself for a string of forthcoming releases.

Drawing on influence from grime, rnb, dubstep, trap and hip hop as a whole – from both the UK and US - alongside co-writer and producer MUSSI, she has reinvented herself and fine tuned her talents. The result is a deeply personal sound and style, with Anna Lisa weaving stories of emotional battles, heartbreak and unrestricted resentment within her music.

You can expect to hear a lot from her corner in the coming months, with four singles under her belt, as well as her first music video, her debut E.P: Unfollowed, is scheduled for release in early September 2019. All of that, plus her first festival appearances at Glastonbury 2019 and St Pauls Carnival as well as a run of upcoming gigs and other shows, make Anna Lisa one to watch in 2019 and beyond.
