60-second open mic

We are inviting five talented individuals to take centre stage and showcase their talent for 60 seconds each.

  2. No covers

  3. 60 seconds only

The winner will be chosen based on crowd participation and will be rewarded by having their song added to our much-loved ‘New Talent First’ playlist. The winner will also receive a pair of tickets to our next show.

LINEUP

Orla Rae

Immersed in music from a young age, 23 year old Brighton born singer and songwriter Orla Rae takes inspiration from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Jazmine Sullivan, Cleo Sol and Victoria Monet, blending R&B, soul, pop and jazz with powerful vocals, honest lyricism and a genuine passion for storytelling. Having recently supported artists such as Sophie Faith, IYAMAH and singing for Jazz duo, Blue Lab Beats on their UK/EU tours, as well as gaining support from DJ Target on BBC Radio 1Xtra and Jyoty on RinseFM, Orla is grounding herself in the UK R&B/Soul scene as one to watch for 2025.

Getting to 21Soho

  • The venue is located on Soho Square, with the entrance on Sutton Row; they are the big green tiled building.

  • There are cycle lanes nearby and bike parking available in the area.

By Train / Underground

  • Tottenham Court Road (London Underground & Elizabeth Line) – approx. 2-4 min walk.

    • Elizabeth line and Northern line: Step-free access is available from the street to these platforms via lifts in several entrances, including those on Oxford Street and New Oxford Street.

    • Central line: Step-free access is not fully available for the eastbound Central line platform. There is a gap between the platform and the train that can be a barrier for some wheelchairs.

    • Within the station: All floors are step-free except for level 6, which is stair-only access.

    • Assisted travel: Boarding ramps and/or mini-ramps are available for use with Northern line services. 

By Bus

  • 14, 176, 188 - approx. 3-5 min walk

Accessibility

  • The main venue space is accessed at street level via one step. Unfortunately, there isn’t an accessible WC as our bathrooms are downstairs.

  • Guide dogs are welcome in our venue.
