Why The Debut exists
iluvlive has spent over 20 years creating spaces where artists can be heard long before industry attention arrives. From grassroots stages to national recognition, we’ve seen what happens when the right room meets the right moment.
The Debut continues that legacy.
The Debut has 3 main aims:
A stage for artists eager to present themselves to the world
A secure and encouraging environment to test new material
An opportunity for individuals to invest in new music and enjoy a great evening out.
Plusamari - Will no longer be performing at the show; he will be performing for us in August. Please follow our social pages or sign up for our mailing list for updates.

Mariella
Mesmerised by female guitarists with powerful voices, British Soul songstress Mariella's earliest songwriting experiences were inspired by the likes of Lianne La Havas, Lauryn Hill and Bonnie Raitt, leading her to pick up the guitar & later graduate with a songwriting degree from BIMM. Fast forward to now, Mariella’s sound has evolved to balance both the delicate & powerful in her range, her songs are laced with sensitive, passionate & vulnerable storytelling as she observes and learns to navigate the world around her. Influenced by artists like Jorja Smith, Sabrina Claudio & Sinead Harnett, her soft vocal tones & heartfelt lyrics are woven into sultry, emotive and alternative productions. Although just a few releases into her career, Mariella has already garnered support from tastemakers like BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri and Jess Iszatt as well as Spotify's New Music Friday UK, All New Pop, R&B UK & Fresh Finds UK & IE. She has been championed by NPR Music, BBC Introducing, Triple J, BBC 6 Music and Ones To Watch. Releasing her debut EP 'Deeper Than You' in the Spring of 2025, Mariella invited listeners into her rich musical world, blending Soul, R&B, and an array of alternative influences across four intricate compositions, and closed out 2025 with a sold-out debut headline show in the capital. Bursting into the new year, the singer-songwriter revealed 'Room For You', an infectious soul-pop record. It quickly garnered early support from BBC Introducing & BBC Radio 1, with welcomed comparisons to Olivia Dean, Fleetwood Mac and Joesef, setting the stage for an exciting and defining 2026.
