iluvlive: Artist Development Programme Update and New Workshop Series
The first Artist Development Workshop on 17th March 2026.
Our most recent Artist Development Programme open call received nearly 700 submissions from artists across the UK. Alongside our Talent Selection Advisors, we carefully reviewed every application and selected artists where we believed iluvlive could have the greatest impact.
The exceptional standard of submissions has prompted us to take time to reflect, regroup, and ensure we are best positioned to continue serving our community at the highest level. As part of this, we are undertaking internal restructuring to ensure we can maintain the quality of support for applicants and artists who engage with iluvlive through our shows and programmes.
For those who have followed iluvlive for the last two decades, you’ll know that prior to the pandemic, we were consistently delivering events across the UK. In 2026, we are recommitting to that vision and will be returning to a nationwide programme of activity, extending well beyond London.
With this in mind, we have decided to postpone the reopening of applications for our Artist Development Programme until July 2026.
What does this mean for artists?
While applications are on pause, our commitment to supporting emerging artists remains unchanged. Over the next six months, iluvlive will continue to provide opportunities, guidance, and access for artists, regardless of whether they are currently part of the Artist Development Programme.
As part of this commitment, we are launching a new Artist Development Workshop Series under our education strand, The Break.
These workshops will be intimate, in-depth sessions designed to:
Offer transparency into iluvlive’s Artist Development processes, from application review to onboarding
Provide practical, actionable insight into how artists can strengthen future applications
Equip artists with skills and knowledge that support long-term career development beyond iluvlive
The workshops will run throughout the application postponement period and will continue once applications reopen, forming an ongoing part of iluvlive’s artist support offering.
We look forward to connecting with artists across the UK over the coming months and continuing to support the next generation of talent in meaningful, sustainable ways.
