iluvlive Presents ‘The Debut’ – One Song. One Stage. One Shot.

iluvlive is proud to announce “The Debut”, a brand-new live format created for the next generation of artists. Launching at BOXPARK Shoreditch on 21st September, 1 - 5 pm. This open jam series offers performers the chance to take the stage with a live band and share just one song, one stage, one shot.

At its core, iluvlive has always been about championing Black music genres and Black artists, providing vital grassroots spaces where new talent can emerge and thrive. While its roots lie in supporting Black music and culture and it remains a priority, “The Debut” is open to all talent, continuing iluvlive’s mission to create inclusive spaces that reflect the diversity and creativity of the UK’s music scene.

Lauren Louise Powell, Managing Director of iluvlive, says:

“The Debut was inspired by the iluvlive foundations but tailored for the next generation. We recognise the ongoing need for a safe, real-life environment where people can perform for the first time, and aim to offer this opportunity to as many artists from the global majority community as possible.”

The night will feature three programmed artists, alongside a vibrant mix of performers who can sign up to be part of the jam. Artists are encouraged to pre-register ahead of the show for performance slots via the iluvlive website, with additional opportunities available on the night, first-come first first-served via QR code.
