“Super excited to be a part of this programme; I’m looking forward to developing my career with the iluvlive team!”

iluvlive and Stellar Songs are thrilled to welcome Orla Rae and Proph as the latest artists to join their artist development programme.

Orla Rae is a singer-songwriter whose sound blends R&B, soul, pop, and jazz. Influenced by icons like Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, and Donny Hathaway, as well as contemporary voices including Jazmine Sullivan and Cleo Sol, she delivers powerful vocals, rich harmonies, and honest storytelling.

Her debut EP "Orla” was met with critical acclaim, earning her the cover of Spotify’s R&B UK playlist and support from 1Xtra, Kiss, Rinse FM, and Reprezent.

Already making her mark live, Orla has supported Sophie Faith, IYAMAH, and Lynda Dawn, toured with Grammy-winning duo Blue Lab Beats, and performed at London’s Jazz Cafe and The Great Escape. She is quickly rising as one of the UK’s most exciting new artists to watch in 2025.

Orla Rae says, “I’m really grateful to be working with iluvlive and Stellar Songs on their artist development programme, & I’m so excited to develop my career and release more music over the next year. This is just the beginning, and I’m so happy to have the support of the team! ””

Proph sees the world a little differently—and that’s what makes him stand out. The South London rapper is way more than a Rapper; he’s a sharp, introspective voice with a lot to say.

His debut mixtape, Hurt’s The New Sexy, feels like a window into his musical world, tying classic rap storytelling to a nuanced glimpse into his self-development journey.

He’s had previous support from the likes of Mixtape Madness, GRM Daily, Viper Mag and editorial support from Spotify’s New Hip Hop & RnB playlist.

Proph says, “‘Super excited to be a part of this programme; I’m looking forward to developing my career with the iluvlive team!”

Over the next 12 months, the team looks forward to supporting Orla Rae and Proph with £5,000 in funding each, alongside monthly mentoring sessions, dedicated A&R guidance, and tailored marketing support.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The iluvlive Artist Development Programme was launched in 2014 and was born out of a desire to help further acts’ careers via our platforms and networks. Each year, we select two acts and offer our expertise and guidance over a 12-month period.

For 2023, we are excited to announce that the programme will partner with Stellar Songs (more info here). This will add a powerhouse of support for artists and ensure sessions and a writing camp inclusion as part of the Programme. The Programme is open every six months for two applicants to join the 12-month scheme.

We allocate a budget of £5000 for each participant to spend on what we call hard costs, such as mixing, mastering, PR, plugging, tour support, videos, etc. But most of the value we offer comes from our vast expertise as a team and from our ability to use our contacts to your benefit.

We are proud to have supported artists such as Izzy Bizu, Emmavie, Morgan Munroe, Jords, Blizzard, Tobi Sunmola, Anjelo Disons, Laura White, and Lylo Gold.
