The Debut is back.
One song. One stage. Great company.

The Debut returns this September, iluvlive's flagship event, championing new music.

Each edition brings together a curated lineup of rising acts performing full headline sets, alongside our signature one-track segment where artists have the space to make their mark in front of a live room that’s ready to listen.

📅 [New Date] 22nd September 2026

📍 The Lower Third (Up), London

Be first in the room.

Tickets and the full lineup drop to our mailing list first. Sign up below for early access, artist announcements, and everything iluvlive.

We’ve tidied up the format so the night runs smoothly

  • Each artist performs one song, so make it your strongest.

  • We can only fit in 15 artists max. Acts are announced in order of sign-ups

  • Once you submit your track, that’s the one we play. No changes on the day or during the show.

  • Send us the version you actually want played. If your PA version differs from the one on streaming, send the PA version. Whatever we receive is what comes through the speakers.

  • Try to keep it under 4 minutes. Shorter sets tend to hit harder, and with a packed bill, every minute counts.

  • You’ll need a valid ticket to perform or an approved guestlist slot to perform

  • The deadline to submit is 24 hours before the show

FEATURING ON THE NIGHT

GAÏA

GAÏA makes neo-soul straight from the source. Born in France, the singer-songwriter is a rising force in the Scottish nu-rnb and soul scene. Deeply influenced by all forms black music, GAÏA draws on her heritage to create a genre-fluid sound rooted in soul, hip-hop, and R&B - she explores themes, identity, belonging and self-expression. Naturally finding her feet in the Scottish jazz scene, she quickly grew her profile as one to watch.

Rashad

Born and raised in Southeast London with Grenadian and Jamaican roots, Rashád blends introspective lyricism with soulful melodies, drawing from R&B, soul and alternative influences.

His music explores love, loss and personal growth with honesty and vulnerability, combining vintage textures with a contemporary sound. Through each release, Rashád creates music that feels personal and intentional.

Ume

Born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, Ume's artistic path has been deeply influenced by her mixed heritage.
Ume's musical canvas is a blend of Neo-soul, R&B, and Jazz, with elements of world music that pay homage to her roots. Ume's musical journey is a testament to her commitment to creativity, as she weaves together diverse influences to create a sound and vision that is truly her own, yet belongs to all of us.
